| Abstract | Abstract: Adolescence is a period marked by rapid physiological changes, including fluctuations in blood pressure, respiration, body temperature, and hormonal regulation. These changes, when unbalanced, may negatively impact health and academic performance. Yoga, an ancient system of holistic living, provides a scientific method to regulate the physiological systems through physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditative practices. This article explores the role of yoga in improving key physiological parameters among adolescents—blood pressure, breathing frequency, body temperature regulation, and vital capacity. A structured yoga intervention showed significant enhancement in autonomic balance, respiratory efficiency, and cardiovascular stability, supporting the integration of yoga into adolescent health programs. |
