| Abstract | Resilience, understood as the capacity to adapt and flourish despite challenges, is a key factor shaping the educational pathways of children with special needs. It influences not only their emotional stability but also their drive and participation in learning. Many studies suggests that visually impaired students often perform on par with their sighted peers in subjects that emphasize auditory and conceptual learning, such as languages and social sciences. Ultimately, the academic achievement of visually impaired students reflects not only their resilience and determination but also the inclusivity of the school environment. With the right combination of assistive technology, teacher training, peer support, and family encouragement, these learners can excel academically and reach their full potential. This research paper tries to find out the influence of Resilience on Academic Achievement of children with special needs specially Visually Impaired in Chennai-North Educational District with N=130 both in Normal and Special schools, adopted purposive sampling technique.
