Corporate Social Responsibility in International Trade and Business

Author(s) Mr. Rudraksh Agrawal

Abstract This research explores the growing role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in international business, particularly within trade and profitability frameworks. Over the past decade, CSR has shifted from being a voluntary initiative to an essential part of corporate strategy, shaping how companies operate across borders. The study reviews literature on CSR practices, examines their impact on global trade, and highlights strategies businesses use to balance profit maximisation with ethical responsibilities. Findings suggest that CSR not only strengthens brand image and stakeholder trust but also contributes to sustainable long-term profitability.
