| Abstract | With the increasing usage of internet among the students there is a question of trust in news sources. News audiences tend to get news from the different news sources where they trust or credible the most. Trusts in news sources become a debatable topic nowadays because of the easily available and convenient nature of the internet. In many news sources, audiences find fake news and because of this the trust of the news source is less. In this context, the paper tries to investigate the most trusted news source and what news sources consume for in-depth analysis of news. For the purpose of the study 451 respondents have been selected from the university students in Mizoram. For the study a survey method has been used through structured questionnaire. The findings of the study shows that newspaper becomes the most trusted news sources among the respondents and television becomes the mostly prefer news sources for in-depth analysis of news. |
