Author(s) Dr. Neeraja Janjanam

Abstract English in Engineering education now requires reflective learning since it allows learners to assess their performance, critically examine their experiences, and apply the learnt knowledge to new assignments. By involving learners in both providing and receiving feedback, peer group assessment has become a significant pedagogical strategy that encourages reflective practice. This study looks at the way peer group evaluation improves reflective learning in educational settings. The study emphasizes the advantages, difficulties, and consequences of incorporating peer feedback into instructional strategies by drawing on literature and empirical findings. Peer group assessment, when supported by teacher facilitation and structured with clear rubrics, promotes critical thinking, self-awareness, and collaborative skills, according to the study's findings.
