Consumers Attitude towards Digital Payment System in Kollam district

Abstract Digital payment systems have transformed the way people conduct financial transactions by offering speed, security and convenience. This paper presents a review regarding the consumers attitude towards digital payment system This study explores consumers attitudes towards digital payment systems in Kollam district, focusing on factors influencing adoption, preferred payment methods and usage frequency. Seventy five respondents were taken for the study.The study reveals that transaction speed, security, and cashback incentives are key drivers for adoption of digital payment system. Unified Payments Interface (UPI) emerged as the most preferred payment method, followed by debit and credit cards. The findings provide valuable insights to policymakers and service providers aiming to increase digital payment penetration and foster a cashless economy in the region
