Abstract Rehabilitation is a multidimensional process that requires more than physical treatment. Traditional biomedical models often fall short in addressing the complex interplay of physical, psychological, and social factors that influence recovery. The integration of psychology, physiotherapy, and social work reflects a biopsychosocial approach to health care, ensuring that patients not only regain physical abilities but also achieve emotional stability and social reintegration. This paper explores the theoretical foundations, practical applications, and research evidence supporting interdisciplinary collaboration in rehabilitation. By analyzing the roles of psychological support in motivation and pain management, physiotherapy in functional recovery, and social work in community reintegration and resource mobilization, the study demonstrates that combined approaches significantly improve compliance, quality of life, and long-term outcomes. Findings from literature and clinical observations highlight the need for structured models of interdisciplinary rehabilitation. The paper concludes that effective integration of these three disciplines is essential for holistic and sustainable recovery.
