Mass production of fungal spores for rapid degradation of various agri-residues

Author(s) Dr. Livleen Shukla, Mr. Shubham Sharma
Country India
Abstract India being an agrarian country different types of agri-residues are being generated annually and are also being burnt by farmers resulting in environment pollution. Rapid decomposition of large quantities of agro waste using efficient lignocellulolytic fungal inoculation would result in the huge demand of inoculum. Modification of supply of culture to the end users is a need of hour. Viability and shelf life of spores would help to overcome the problems being faced for large scale production as well as transport. The effectiveness study on different wastes shows the validity of this alternative technology.
