| Abstract | Banking sector in any country's economy so important as blood in a human body that does not survives without circulation of blood. All the banking reforms are for better and effective banking management and delivery of improved financial services reach out to the underprivileged sections of the society in india .CAR is maintained at highest ratio by the Kotek mahendra bank in the private sector while in CAR is maintained at lowest ratio by the SBI during the study period.Asset quality ratio and management capability ratios both public and private commercial banks are performing equally and the same. In Earning capacity ratio private sector commercial banks are performing better than the public sector commercial banks.In maintenance of liquidity ratio the both public and private sectors banks competing head to head with each other.In the Overall CAMEL performance rank test the both public and private sector commercial banks are having equal ranks. |
