| Abstract | The rapid growth of digital finance has brought banking closer to millions of people, yet it has also created new vulnerabilities. As financial institutions open their systems to mobile users, fintech startups, and global payment networks, security challenges have become more complex than traditional defense models can handle. This paper explores an adaptive and human-centered security framework designed to balance innovation, risk, and customer experience. Drawing from recent literature, case studies, and simulation insights, the framework integrates continuous risk scoring, adaptive access controls, real-time fraud detection, and resilience engineering. The findings suggest that adaptive models can significantly reduce fraud losses while maintaining user trust and accessibility. This work contributes to the discussion on how banks can modernize cybersecurity without sacrificing inclusivity or efficiency. |
