Abstract An extra-curricular activity is any organized activity that students participate in outside of their regular academic curriculum. Participation in extracurricular activities enhances student engagement by increasing a sense of belonging and motivation. This study aimed to know the impact of demographic variables on curricular engagement through students’ participation in Extracurricular activities among B.Ed. student-teachers. Researchers conducted a descriptive survey using Google Form, which included 14 questions. The questionnaire gathered demographic information such as gender, educational stream, semester, and regional background of the participants. Researchers collected a total of 87 responses to understand the role of extracurriculars activities upon the student teacher’s curricular engagement. Thus, obtained data was quantitatively analysed by calculating the mean, standard deviation, and using the t-test. The findings revealed that there exists no significant difference in the curricular engagement of student teachers belonging to different demographic variables through their participation in extra-curricular activities.
