| Abstract | The transition from diesel-powered agricultural machinery to electric tractors (E-tractors) represents a major milestone in sustainable agriculture. This paper explores the efficiency, environmental, and economic benefits of E-tractors while highlighting their technological advancements and challenges. E-tractors offer zero tailpipe emissions, reduced noise, lower operational costs, and integration with renewable energy sources such as solar power. Although higher upfront costs and limited battery capacity pose constraints, innovations such as solar charging systems with Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) are extending their utility. The findings indicate that E-tractors are a viable, cost-effective, and eco-friendly alternative to conventional tractors, making them a cornerstone in the future of smart farming. |
| Keywords | E-Tractor, ecofriendly, MPPT, reduced noise, smart farming. |
