| Abstract | The goal of this study is to investigate the connection between academic achievement among students in upper secondary schools and parental support. Through the development of drive, self-assurance, and goal-setting skills, parental support is essential for boosting adolescents' academic achievement. To provide an accurate representation of the population, this study uses a straightforward random selection approach to choose different schools in the Hanumangarh, District. Two hundred pupils from higher secondary schools were selected to take part in the study. While academic progress was measured using Santhosh's (2012) Academic Progress Scale, parental encouragement was evaluated using the Parental Stimulation Scale, which was invented by Dr. Kusum Agarwal in 1983. The results reveal that adolescents who get more parental support often perform academically more effectively, showing a positive and substantial association between parental encouragement and learning success. In addition to underscoring the importance of schools and legislators to put policies in place to promote family involvement in academic activities, the study emphasizes the significance of parental involvement. |
