Abstract The relationship between GDP and index numbers in India can be analyzed in different ways to understand economic trends, growth patterns and overall performance of the economy. Indicator numbers are often used to track changes in various economic indicators over time on the one hand and work to develop statistical modeling in GDP science so that it becomes able to deal with the huge amount of data on the other hand.
