Abstract Pregnancy is a creative and production period in the life of women. It is one of the vital events, which needs special care from conception to postnatal period. Every mother wants to enjoy the nine months period with the baby inside her; the joyful experience of the pregnancy is not always joyful. Sometimes it is associated with problems of varying severity. Minor disorders are one among those problems which causes discomfort to the mothers during pregnancy; such disorders are often termed as, “Minor disorders”. The study was conducted to compare the pretest and post-test knowledge scores among urban and rural antenatal mothers attending antenatal clinics regarding minor disorders of pregnancy and their home remedies. Quasi experimental pre-test post-test design was used to select the 100 samples. The results of pre-test and post-test knowledge scores of antenatal mothers in urban clinics was found to be significant at 5% level (p<0.05) and the p value is 0.021.
