| Abstract | In the 21st century, the vital role that women play across the world is extensively evident. They are in no sense inferior to men, and this reflects upon in every field and sector of work including entrepreneurship. However, is the idea of becoming an entrepreneur the same for every woman? This study will take this up in detail and will primarily discuss women entrepreneurs of Telangana with its context rooted in rural and underprivileged women, and it will pivot around government schemes and various types of barriers that disrupt the process of the beneficiaries utilizing the schemes. It will also talk deliberately on how these barriers affect different women and the possible solutions that may be incorporated. The paper will dive into government schemes, general safety and security of women in the country, and ultimately, the way forward. |
