Author(s) Mrs. K. Jyothisree

Abstract This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of simulation-based learning in enhancing patient safety competence among nursing students. A one-group pre-test and post-test experimental design was adopted, involving 40 third year and final-year B.Sc. Nursing students selected through convenience sampling. A validated 20-item Likert scale assessing patient safety was administered before and after a structured simulation session. The findings support integrating simulation into nursing education to strengthen safety practices from early training stages.
