| Abstract | Employees that engage in positive and productive organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) without anticipating rewards increase the effectiveness of the organization. It entails avoiding confrontations, volunteering, assisting others, and abiding by laws and regulations. Good citizens are more likely to be promoted and work in a healthy environment. Since individual value is the only selection criterion used in healthcare facilities, OCB is particularly crucial. Job performance is a methodical examination of work behavior outputs and potential, whereas job satisfaction gauges employee joy and contentment. With an emphasis on the demographic factors that impact citizenship behavior, a study conducted in Ahmadabad examined organizational citizenship behavior in Kataria Automobile pvt ltd. The findings indicated that while other demographic factors like age, educational attainment, experience, and yearly income had an impact on citizenship behavior dimensions, gender and marital status had no effect. Evaluating job satisfaction levels can contribute to the development of a committed, devoted, and watchful workforce that ultimately enhances organizational effectiveness. |
