| Abstract | This study is to find the relationship with various factor and challenges of e-ticketing like business strategies, number of ticket sales, payment methods, industry trends, service quality with profit margins of ticketing agencies in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. Using field survey, primary data are collected. To analysis the data, regression and ANOVA analyses were applied to evaluate the significance of these factors in influencing profit margin. The analysis results show that the business strategies have a moderately strong effect and significant in the variation of profit margins. No. of ticket sales also significantly contribute to profit margin, showing significant in driving the revenue growth. Among all these factors, payment methods demonstrated the strongest influence with more than 60% of the variation in profit margins and there is an importance of adopting secure and efficient digital payment systems. By contrast, current industry trends and quality of services were found to have weak and statistically insignificant effects on profitability. Regression models revealed very low explanatory power, and ANOVA confirmed the absence of significant relationships. This suggests that, in the short term, profitability is more strongly influenced by internal strategies and sales performance than by external trends or service quality. Supporting literature highlights the rapid growth of e-commerce and m-commerce in India, driven by convenience, affordability, and digital adoption, but constrained by challenges such as logistics inefficiencies, cybersecurity risks, and limited rural infrastructure. Overall, the study concludes that effective business strategies, strong sales performance, and diverse payment methods are critical for enhancing profitability in ticketing services, while broader industry trends and service quality exert limited direct impact. |
