Author(s) Mr. A KUMAR SAGAR

Abstract Education is a fundamental right of every human being and serves as the foundation for learning, problem-solving, and achieving balance in life. Over the past two decades, education has experienced significant changes at all levels, many of which are driven by advancements in technology. These developments have influenced not only the methods teachers use to educate but also the ways students learn and engage with knowledge. Among the most transformative innovations are artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). These technologies have permeated nearly every aspect of human life, including business, banking, communication, travel, healthcare, and education. In the educational context, AI and ML offer tools that can enhance teaching practices, personalize learning experiences, and improve the overall effectiveness of education systems. While it is clear that teachers and educators remain irreplaceable in shaping students’ growth, the role of technology is becoming increasingly important. AI and ML are not intended to replace human educators but to support and extend their capabilities, reshaping best practices in teaching and learning. This paper presents a review of the role of machine learning in education. It discusses the general concepts, applications, and implications of ML for educational environments, aiming to highlight both its potential benefits and the challenges associated with its integration.
