Abstract India has the largest population of adolescents in the world being home to 243 million individuals aged 10-19 years. Adolescents are at risk of Iron deficiency anaemia due to accelerated increase in requirements of iron, poor dietary intake of iron, high rate of infection and worm infestation as well as the social norm of early marriage and teenage pregnancy. But most of the adolescents are not comfortable with the services provided at regular health settings due to lack of privacy, support and guidance .Hence the focus of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of Video assisted teaching on knowledge regarding adolescent friendly health clinic services and their utilization among adolescent girls at selected higher secondary school, Kanpur, rural , Uttar Pradesh.
