Abstract Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) systems have emerged as a revolutionary approach in healthcare delivery, enabling continuous monitoring of patients outside traditional clinical settings. This paper presents a comprehensive review of various sensor technologies employed in RPM systems, analyzing their principles, applications, advantages, and limitations. The study categorizes sensors into physiological, environmental, and motion sensors, examining their role in monitoring vital signs, chronic diseases, and overall patient wellbeing. The research highlights the technological advancements, integration challenges, and future prospects of sensor-based RPM systems in modern healthcare.
