Religious Concepts of Duality & Non-Duality

Abstract Religions exist since the human consciousness advanced and societies were made to enhance the safety, togetherness and life quality of mankind. It was developed to ensure certain practices through which human is rooted with nature and human behaviour should be in the interest of trust and love towards self and every other living beings of this existence. At the later stages when number of societies increased in many parts of world with the increase of human population, different religions also surfaced with local type of mind-set and set of different practices like Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Buddhism Judaism etc. More later on these religions also subdivided into more sub-categories like in Islam ‘Shia & Sunni’, in Hindu ‘Shaiva & Vaishnava’ and in Jains ‘Digambar & Shwetambar’ etc. In the similar manner, a different kind of believe also born among all types of religions which categorized them in two as Duality & Non-Duality. This paper represents some of prominent spiritual beings’ approach towards Non-Dualism.
