| Abstract | Artificial intelligence has the enormous potential to revolutionize the libraries in India. An article is that it may bring a radical change in the way libraries handle the resources by utilizing AI. AI can be the driving force behind all the simplifications that are desired by the libraries in the form of automation of processes such as cataloguing, making user experiences more personalized, and using the resources in the most efficient way. Besides AI gadgets can become a helpful assistant in discovering user needs and likes through data analysis. Thus, the library can curate the collections that best fit their communities. However, there are some obstacles such as staff training and user data security that need to be addressed carefully when considering AI adoption in libraries. The paper talks about these occurrences and their fears as well. Besides that, it mentions that policy and financial support are key to any technological change. The libraries’ fate lies in what they decide to do with these new digital tools. |
