| Abstract | In this paper, we investigate the comparative growth properties of composite entire or meromorphic functions with their corresponding left or right factors in terms of the φ-order and the hyper φ-order. These growth indicators generalize both the classical order and the logarithmic order, and provide a finer scale to measure the rate of growth of entire and meromorphic functions. Our results establish inequalities connecting the φ-order and hyper φ-order of composite entire or meromorphic functions with that of their components. Some examples are given to show the sharpness of the estimates. |
