| Abstract | Start-up ecosystem is great for triggering innovations, driving economic growth and generating employment opportunities. This paper investigates the impact of government support mechanisms- efficiency of financial support, ease of compliance to regulations, accessibility of funding programmes and value of government initiatives-on challenges and revenue growth from start-ups. It adopted a quantitative method that entails collecting data from 51 start-ups using structured questionnaire distributed through LinkedIn. Descriptive and inferential analyses, including correlation, regression, and chi-square tests, were used to investigate the relationship between different variables. Results revealed that government support significantly reduces start-up challenges and raises their revenue growth with financial support and targeted initiatives as most impactful factors. Nevertheless, issues like inequalities in accessibility and ineffective bureaucracy continue to exist. In order to promote robust start-up ecosystems, this study emphasizes the significance of developing specialized and easily available support systems. The results give policymakers practical advice on how to boost economic growth and entrepreneurial success. |
