| Abstract | Tall buildings are affected by lateral forces due to wind & earthquake. For most of the buildings earthquake load is critical than Wind load & need to be controlled by using suitable methods. Most effective & feasible solution is to modify the geometry of building. So, this paper is an attempt to study behavior of different plan shaped multistoried buildings to the wind load and Seismic load. Five models with various plan shapes like rectangular, L, I, C and hexagonal shape are created & analysed with help of ETABS software 2020 & using IS:875(part 3)-2016 for wind load and IS:1893 (part-1)-2016 for seismic loads. Story drifting, displacement, sharing, and time period have all been compared. The most stable plan shape was the one with the lowest values of all parameters. From analysis it has been found that C plan shape is most stable. |
