| Abstract | This study explored the semiotic elements in UM Digos College promotional digital posters and how visual, textual, and linguistic features express the institution’s identity, values, and brand image. The corpus data included are promotional digital posters from the official online pages of UM Digos College and the three most populated departments: the Department of Teacher Education (DTE), Department of Criminal Justice Education (DCJE), and Department of Business Administration (DBA). Using a semiotic analysis framework, the research examined key symbols, colors, typography, and language use to uncover their role in meaning-making. Findings indicate that these semiotic elements significantly contribute to the college’s academic credibility and help create a unified brand narrative. The research also highlights the strategic use of visual and linguistic communication in educational marketing, showing how promotions can be more effective for greater engagement. This study aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting access through informative visual materials, and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) by employing digital communication tools. The analysis leans toward a positive interpretation, suggesting that such semiotic components support UM Digos College’s credibility, which in turn attracts students while strengthening public trust, institutional reputation, and community engagement. |
