Abstract The common medical conditions encountered by the dentist in daily practice include patients with cardiac diseases, pulmonary diseases, hypertension, diabetes, bleeding disorders, pregnant patients and patients undergoing radiation therapy. Endodontic treatment during pregnancy require special considerations due to hormonal and physiological changes, but with proper precautions, they can be safely performed. Modern techniques involving apex locators, reciprocating files, and single-cone obturation improve the efficiency and comfort of treatment. Good oral hygiene is crucial since nrglecting dental care may result in complications such as premature birth, low birth weight, and early tooth decay in children.
