Comparative study of conventional vs. standardized surgical steps [SUOP-PC] for “Unfreezing the Frozen Pelvis.”

Abstract Abstract
Taking care of a frozen pelvis is still one of the hardest things to do in gynecologic surgery. Current treatment strategies encompass pharmacological interventions for symptomatic relief and surgical procedures for conclusive management. Medical treatments, like hormonal suppression, might help with pain for a short time, but they don't fix the anatomical distortion. Surgery, most often done with laparoscopy, is the best way to fix anatomy, remove endometriotic lesions, and improve fertility outcomes. [1] But the procedure is technically difficult, has a higher risk of injury to the bowel, bladder, and ureters, and needs advanced surgical skills. There are different ways to do surgery, but the results depend a lot on how carefully the surgeon does each step and how much experience they have. This is an attempt to standardize the surgical steps for unfreezing the frozen pelvis, so if these steps are followed, it will help in complete clearance of disease with negligible or no complications.[2]
