Abstract Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a heterogeneous and multisystemic autoimmune disease characterized by the production of autoantibodies against various cellular constituents. Hypothyroidism is an underactive thyroid gland that is diagnosed based on laboratory findings. There are many intraoral features associated with both systemic lupus erythematosus and hypothyroidism like xerostomia, delayed tooth eruption, altered tooth morphology, delayed wound healing, dysguesia, glossodynia, burning mouth, increased susceptibility to caries and periodontal disease. We report a case of a 14-year-old female with Systemic lupus erythematosus, hypothyroidism along with oral manifestations. SLE is typically characterized by periods of flare-ups and remissions, the patient journey can be particularly complex, involving interactions with several Health Care Professionals, such as primary-care physicians, rheumatologists, dermatologists, nephrologists and other specialists, depending on the organs affected by the disease.
