Customer Understanding and Satisfaction with Respect to Online Shopping in Belagavi City, Karnataka

Abstract Online shopping fulfills the needs of the present generation. These needs and requisitions of the customers are changing with time perspective to fulfil their wants. Accordingly, the marketing structure is also changing in recent days, which has come up with innovations, techniques and methods. The study mainly focuses on customer satisfaction especially with reference to online marketing in Belagavi city, Karnataka. Online shopping is important for the people because it is very easy for the people to buy goods with the help of the internet at any point of time and from anywhere. People buy their requirements without going to the shops. Online shopping has its impact on customer satisfaction. It guides, provides choices while buying the goods of their interest. Electronic commerce assists in every step while buying the products. The researcher has studied customer satisfaction on various parameters including demographic profile of the respondents. The study shows that the customers are satisfied with the online shopping platforms.
