Petrol Level Calculator and Purity Fraud Detector

Abstract	This research paper presents a novel system designed to calculate the exact amount of fuel dispensed and verify its cost, thereby helping to avoid petrol station fraud. The proposed solution integrates a flow sensor and a microcontroller-based unit to calculate the precise volume and cost of petrol being dispensed. It also measures the density of petrol to verify purity. The results are displayed on dual LCD screens mounted inside the vehicle, with an alert mechanism triggered in case of discrepancies. This system ensures transparency, prevents fraudulent practices at fuel stations, and empowers vehicle owners to verify petrol delivery.
