Author(s) Ms. MOHANAPRIYA AKILAN
Country India
Abstract Abstract
Hormones play a pivotal role in regulating mood, emotions, and overall mental health. Among them, stress-related hormones such as cortisol, adrenaline, and norepinephrine are often referred to as "sad hormones" when present in excess. Prolonged elevation of these hormones can lead to anxiety, depression, poor immunity, and chronic health disorders. This article highlights the physiological impacts of sad hormones and explores evidence-based strategies to regulate them, thus promoting emotional well-being and resilience.
