Market Penetration and Competitive Impact of Chinese Automotive Brands in the UAE

Abstract This study examines the market penetration strategies and market impact of Chinese automotive manufacturers in the UAE between the years 2020-2025. This study employs quantitative market analysis and primary survey data (n=194), this research documents a 17-fold increase in Chinese brand market share from 0.5% to 8.5%. The analysis identifies five primary factors which contributed significantly to the growth of these vehicles: value proposition, technological innovation, model diversification, dealer network partnerships, and manufacturing quality standards. Findings indicate this transformation represents permanent market restructuring rather than temporary disruption, with implications for traditional automotive manufacturers' competitive strategies and current (short-term) consumer automotive purchasing behavior.
