Conflict Management Practices & Their Impact on Organisational Effectiveness

Abstract This study explores how conflict management techniques influence the effectiveness of organisations. It integrates theoretical perspectives and empirical evidence to develop a conceptual model that connects the origins of conflict, management approaches (such as avoidance, accommodation, competition, compromise, and collaboration), and organisational outcomes (including productivity, employee satisfaction, innovation, turnover, and organisational citizenship behaviour). The paper suggests an empirical research approach utilizing survey-based metrics and quantitative methods, including exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, regression, and structural equation modelling. It also offers practical insights for managers, policy suggestions, and discusses limitations and directions for future research.
