| Abstract | This study examines the impact of ChatGPT on female students’ note-taking practices and learning outcomes in Coonoor, The Nilgiris. The research focuses on how students employ ChatGPT to take, summarize, and organize classroom notes, and how this influences their academic performance. A sample of 170 students was surveyed using Google Forms to assess their usage patterns, note-taking habits, and learning experiences. The findings reveal that ChatGPT enables students to prepare notes more quickly, enhances comprehension of lessons, and reduces stress during lectures. At the same time, concerns emerge regarding over-dependence on the tool, reduced critical thinking, and potential challenges to academic integrity. Overall, the study concludes that ChatGPT can serve as an effective supplementary learning aid when used with proper guidance, ensuring that students strengthen—not replace—their independent learning skills. |
