Right ovarian torsion in Mid-Trimester Pregnancy managed conservatively with Ovarian Plication: A Case Report

Abstract	Acute abdomen during pregnancy is medical emergency compromising both maternal & fetal health. A promt diagnosis & immediate corrective measure are the key to better outcome. Many times such incidences, requires surgical intervention. Pregnancy is itself a predisposing factor for some of the causes due to altered anatomical & physiological changes. Here we are reporting a case of 23 year Primigravida with 14 weeks of gestation with ovarian torsion. She presented with acute abdominal pain ,she underwent laparotomy followed by detorsion of ovary & plication of ovarian ligament to round ligament to avoid recurrence . her post op recovery was good. She delivered healthy male baby at term
