| Abstract | The increasing demand for computing resources has led to significant growth in data centers, resulting in higher energy consumption and environmental degradation. Green computing offers an effective approach to minimize this impact through energy-efficient hardware, software optimization, and sustainable resource management. Cloud computing, with its scalable and shared infrastructure, presents an ideal platform for implementing green computing principles. This paper explores how cloud technologies can contribute to environmental protection by optimizing energy use, reducing carbon footprints, and promoting resource sharing. It also examines current strategies, challenges, and future prospects for integrating green practices into cloud computing environments. |
