Abstract Indian textile retail is one of the fastest-growing industries. The epidemic hit the garment business in 2020, but the figures show that it is back with a fury. Post-pandemic apparel growth was double-digit from late 2021 (IBEF-2023). Whereas Omicron cases in India fell. Customers were venturing out and performing revenge shopping after remaining at home for two years due to the epidemic, which drove this double-digit surge. Textiles are fiber-based materials made by knitting, weaving, or stitching yarns, whereas clothing includes garments and footwear including shirts, trousers, jackets, skirts, suits, heels, sneakers, and boots for adults and children.
