Abstract Child psychology is the scientific study of how children think, feel, and behave from birth through adolescence. It focuses on their mental, emotional, cognitive, and social development, examining how these areas differ from adults and among individual children. This paper aims to explore the fundamental principles of child psychology, highlight the major theories and approaches, and analyze the impact of various social and environmental factors on a child’s growth. The research integrates both classical and modern perspectives, emphasizing how early experiences, parenting styles, and educational settings contribute to overall psychological development. The study concludes that understanding child psychology is essential for parents, teachers, and mental health professionals to support children’s holistic development in today’s dynamic world.
