| Abstract | Emotional intelligence (EI) is a critical component in a child’s overall development, influencing social interaction, emotional regulation, and academic achievement. This research paper investigates the role of EI in enhancing children’s social skills and academic performance. By analyzing observational studies, parental feedback, and educational assessments, the study highlights how self-awareness, empathy, and emotional regulation contribute to better relationships and learning outcomes. The paper also emphasizes the importance of integrating EI development into school curricula and parental guidance to support holistic child growth. |
