| Abstract | Non- bullous Impetigo is a common infection of the superficial layers of the epidermis that is highly contagious and most commonly caused by gram-positive bacteria. This report presents a case of non-bullous impetigo in 8yr old female. Case presented as an erythematous macule around upper lip extending to left cheek over which a thin-roofed vesiculopustule appeared with intense itching. Diagnosis was confirmed based on the symptoms and clinical manifestations of the disease. Treatment strategy included clinically indicated homoeopathic remedy Mezereum. This case highlights the effectiveness of clinically indicated remedy in acute case of impetigo. |
