| Abstract | The paper employed an inside-out approach to examine a consolidated Leader-Member-Relationship (LMX), Transformational Leadership (TL), and Emergent Followership (EF) theories within the body of literature spanning five years from 2021-2025 with the view to uncovering the ensuing triadic interactional dynamics and their effect on organizational performance. It focused on how the LMX interacts with the TL theory and EF theory to affect performance. Meta-analysis, multi-level empirical works and followership theoretical studies served as the main source of review. In all, the paper examined studies that focused on mediation-moderation, team level LMX properties that looked at concentration-differentiation, and followership agency. |
