Abstract A significant but little-used oilseed crop worldwide is linseed. It can be utilized for industrial purposes, textile industries, medications, food, and fodder. Flax (Linum usitatissimum L.) is an important oilseed crop that is mostly cultivated in temperate climates. Numerous phenolic compounds, including lignans, phenolic acids, flavonoids, phenylpropanoids, and tannins, can be found in abundance in flaxseed. Moreover, the seed has ingredients that can help lower the risk of osteoporosis, cancer, diabetes, digestive system problems, urinary tract problems, arthritis, autoimmune diseases, and neurological illnesses. In this paper, the systematic review on Linum physiological and biochemical of uses in were discussed with references.
