Implementation of Republic Act No. 10627 of the Anti – Bullying on Junior High School at Naga College Foundation, Incorporated

| Abstract | This study assessed the student’s level of awareness of RA 10627 otherwise known as the Anti – Bullying Act among Junior High School students at Naga College Foundation Inc., academic year 2024-2025. Further it determined the factors affecting the implementation of RA 10627. Descripted method was used. The respondents of this study were junior high school students at Naga College Foundation for academic year 2024-2025. The questionnaire was the only data gathering tool used in this study. Finding showed that the implementation of RA 10627 on junior high school was much implemented. Along anti – bullying policies, giving disciplinary actions against the perpetrator of bullying was much implemented. Along mechanism to address bullying, notifying the parents/guardians of the victim to prevent further acts of bullying were highly implemented. Further, junior high school students moderately agree of the factors affecting the implementation of R.A. 10627. Along personal factor, junior high school students moderately agree that there are clear and consistent consequences for bullying behavior. Along peer factor, junior high school students moderately agree of the positive peer relationships and a sense of belonging contribute to a safer and more inclusive school environment, reducing the prevalence of bullying. Along social factor, the students strongly agree that the school promotes a culture of respect and safety among students. Along school factor, junior high school students moderately agree that the students encouraged to build positive relationships and resolve conflicts in a healthy manner. Furthermore, junior high school students were much aware of the effects of bullying. Along physical, junior high school students, were much aware of disliking of own appearance. Along emotional, junior high school students were much aware of sudden change of emotion. Along mental, junior high school students were much aware of anxiety. |
