| Abstract | Emotional trauma refers to the response shown by an individual in terms of psychological and emotional responses to a distressing and irritating event or a series of events that makes an ever lasting impact in an individual’s mental health and well-being through the following experiences like Natural disasters, Witnessing violence, Abuse, Neglect, Bullying which can lead to the feelings of Hyper vigilance, Anger, Fear, Sadness and Anxiety. The impacts created by these are very vigorous on interpersonal relationships, disorder in routine life and overall quality of life. The person who suffers from the trauma will be naturally forced to seek support from professionals like therapists or counselors and also engage themselves on self-care habits by involving in doing things to protect themselves from being affected. |
