| Abstract | ABSTRACT: Agriculture is a crucial sector in rural economies, especially in developing countries with a significant female workforce. However, women face barriers in accessing essential resources like land, credit, education, and technology, which affect their productivity and decision-making abilities. To improve women's economic outcomes and leadership roles, the study evaluates the effectiveness of empowerment initiatives like Self-Help Groups (SHGs), microfinance programs, and skill-building interventions. To ensure fair resource distribution and encourage women's leadership, the study recommends policy recommendations supporting gender-sensitive frameworks and methods. Inclusive policies that address women's urgent needs and challenge institutional practices and cultural norms are essential for sustainable and gender-equal rural development. This research underscores the need for gender-sensitive frameworks and methods to achieve sustainable and gender-equal rural development. |
