Brain Centric Education System (An Educational Framework)

Abstract This research article is to explore the terminology of educational system. It is also to discuss an educational framework, in perspectives of educational neuroscience. It is assumed that the education system is an organized and structured framework for a society, a community, or country which governs how education is being delivered, encompassing all the educational slabs from early childhood to higher education; that aimed to impart knowledge, skills, and foster societal integration. Educational system includes formal institutions like schools and universities; it also includes provisions, policies, curriculum frameworks, administration, resources, management, funding, manpower, and coordination. All are arranged to educate the population. Educators are to support students for acquisition of knowledge, and skill development across various levels to facilitate learning. Educational system may be described as management and arrangement of educational environments, elements, events, facts, components, acts and activities to educate the community as well as individuals. Educational neuroscience is a domain of intersection where brain-related evidences provide a source of facts how learning occurs; as well as what is the role of educational system for the purpose. This research article is proposed for overview on education system to inform and aware the educational-communities about educational neuroscience. It is an invitation to the educators, educationists, educational-stakeholders, administrators, managements, governance, policy-makers, and individuals with ‘educatee brains’. In this paper, brain centric education system is discussed as a recommended educational framework; it is to explore its major components likewise nervous system, support system, effort system, and report system.
