Eco-Education: Making Children Aware of Environment

Abstract This paper explores the growing importance of eco-education in developing environmental awareness among children. It highlights how early environmental education helps nurture responsibility, empathy toward nature, and sustainable behavior. The study also reviews various eco-education models, school programs, and community-based initiatives that effectively promote ecological consciousness. Finally, it provides recommendations for integrating eco-education into formal and informal learning systems to build an environmentally responsible future generation.
